Terms of Service

The Service

CardFinch lets you design, personalize, and send physical postcards and greeting cards. We handle printing, stuffing, stamping, and mailing on your behalf. Cards are mailed via USPS to US addresses only.

Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You may not create accounts for the purpose of abusing promotions, spamming, or any other unauthorized use.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Purchases & Pricing

Pricing

Per-card prices are listed on our pricing page and include printing, envelope, and postage. Prices may change at any time; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay.

Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By placing an order you authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the order total.

Free cards

New accounts receive a limited number of free cards. Free cards are applied automatically at checkout and have no cash value.

Promo codes

Promo codes are subject to expiration dates, usage limits, and other conditions specified at the time of issue. We reserve the right to revoke promo codes that are obtained or used fraudulently.

Refunds & Cancellations

If your order has not yet been sent to the printer, you may request a full refund by contacting support. Once an order is confirmed with the printer, it cannot be cancelled or refunded. Refunds for defective or undeliverable cards are handled on a case-by-case basis.

User Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload or create on CardFinch (designs, images, messages). By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to use it solely for the purpose of fulfilling your orders and providing the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe on any third-party rights. You may not use CardFinch to send content that is illegal, threatening, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

AI-Generated Images

CardFinch offers AI image generation powered by third-party providers. AI-generated images are provided "as is." We do not guarantee that generated images will be free of errors, artifacts, or unintended content. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated images before including them in your cards.

Prohibited Use

You may not use CardFinch to:

• Send unsolicited bulk mail or spam
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate any person
• Send content that is illegal or infringes on the rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other accounts
• Abuse free card promotions or promo codes through multiple accounts or fraudulent means
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or interfere with the service

Intellectual Property

The CardFinch name, logo, website design, and templates are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our templates or branding without permission.

Limitation of Liability

CardFinch is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that cards will arrive by a specific date. Delivery times depend on USPS and are outside our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of CardFinch is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that harms the service or other users. Outstanding orders will be fulfilled before account closure where possible.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the site. Your continued use of CardFinch after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable federal and state law.
